Homestyle is a free home planner that is simple to use that's done online with drag and drop objects to create a 2-D floor plan.
Fill the floor plan from a large library of furniture and appliances. This includes many manufacturer-specific items. There are also options for outdoor landscaping.
I was able to easily create my livingroom without reading instructions with the intuitive interface.
Once you are done, switch to 3-D view. You will have a great visualization of your living space. Designs can be saved by signing up for a free account. They can also be printed, or shared.
